Holy crap cheap seats!

... well maybe not cheap but its freakin squeeky! it drives me crazy!! i even try to move the seat up and front and back.. but to no avail! is this worth takin to the service or is there something i can do about it?!? thanks!

no, no...

Not the leather... the mechanics under the seat... not sure what exactly it is... but its very serious when i brake or accelerate hard. Its very squeeky!

I would take her in to the dealer than and let them fix it. I have not heard of this problem other than in the Z3's they had a seat "creak" issue.

Same Problem

I have the same problem with the seats in my X3. They creak when I accelerate or brake. IT IS DAMN ANNOYING!!!

Took me a while but I have determined that it is one (rear left) seat mount that seems to cause the noise. I know because I can duplicate the noise by grabbing it and pulling it back and forth.

I've tried lubricating the general area but it doesn't seem to help at all. I am going to tighten the bolt on the mount tomorrow and if that doesn't work I'm taking it back to the dealer!
