Damn dude, you got issues.

Good luck with that and your NYC mobster dealership.

I'm just saying...outside Sopranos land (I know it's not New Jersey, but it might as well be)...some of use have some love or our cars--pre-Bangle "de-coupling" of the trunk lid--don't shoot me. [poke]
Oh that's ok, I'm not taking the car back to them ever again, but thanks anyway.

I am but they're making me wait till the end of JUNE! On the side note if that post was irritating I do appologize, I just couldn't resist that comment about getting rid of the car... it sounded oh so nice....
I must be missing something............who makes you wait until June to fix the car......and why would you have to wait till June for a car that is under warranty......??? Leave the car at a new dealership, pick up a loaner and keep it until everything is fixed..........regardless if its for a month...........I realize we dont have the Sopranos in Houston.........but good gracious me??

Some dealerships are absolutely BOOKED for service. Whenever we schedule a service appointment to get one of our cars serviced, the earliest they have is several weeks away. It really just depends on the location of the dealership (how many cars of the same company are running around).

Yeah, there are quite a few BMWs in the Tri-state area. Dealerships in the area need to build larger service departments. I can't imagine that BMW doesn't recognize the need for additional service space. Surely they do capacity analysis studies. Dedicate a few techs to fluid and air filter changes while the rest resolve true technical issues. Sigh...

Leave it at the dealership and pick up a loaner is easier said than done. Not to mention they don't let you see the car untill the loaner is back (btw I don't want any of their loaners) hence why I switched dealerships, I admit I obtained the vehicle from the wrong people... but whats done is done, at least I don't repeat mistakes. And in my case the dealership does under the table work and makes the car WORSE and come out with MORE problems than it started with.... and yes I agree bmw manhattan is one of those mafia dealerships....

My car has been in the shop since Monday and I picked up today, drove a 2004 330CI all week with 400 miles on it.....rattles again from the windows, I went Wednesday and we test drove but the rattling was still there, so they sent me on my way. Left side was fixed (adjusted window, replaced rear shocks, motor mechanism in door had lost a screw). Walked out to get in my car with the guy to inspect and we found a poof in the left front tire, he said its covered under warranty and will replace next week. Its really a shame that you all have such major problems with dealerships. My car has had many problems, but I cant really complain on the dealership and their service. They try really hard.....if I had you all's dealership plus the multitude of problems with the car, I would be insane by now, at least they soften the blow.

Shouldn't you contact BMW USA about this? It's not right to wait over a month for warranty service. That is just poor customer service. I'm sure if BMW USA (or BMW AG) was contacted the dealer would be under some heat. That dealer should get more mechanics to meet their demand for service. Even though I love BMWs, I still will stand for myself. If I pay over $30,000 for a car and they don't care about it when it breaks down under warranty, they will never get my business again. This is the company that provides free maitenence. They will probably apologize and make a dealer in the New York area fix your car.

Hahahhaa, that's funny man. Whenever I am in an altered state of mind (such as by the green stuff), I like to watch car videos I downloaded from fastdrive.org and post on BMWBoard. If you ever see some overly enthusiastic posts made by me, you now know why.

Ha Ha, I'm in a bit of an altered state. I miss my car but I also miss my friends 323i, the 328ci I test drove, and that 318d I rented. WHY do I love inatimate objects like this???

From what I understand BMWNA doesn't care...
