another vote for the Acura TL. Honda reliability very high. Great power for the price and the car is loaded. It even may have bluetooth. I had the last body style before my first BMW. It felt sporty---until I drove a friend's BMW. [bmwdance]

Considering trying to stay somewhat under $30K, no odubt I would look at the new Subaru Legacy Turbo. I must say that it is a very capable vehicle with another revered all-wheel drive system. I would choose it over a WRX--unless its an STi--but then your talking over $30K.
The new Legacy's 250hp boxer engine can surely keep up with the germans. That would be my pick.

I don't understand why so many people are saying the WRX STi. I mean, don't get me wrong it's an AMAZING car, particularly for the price. But I feel like the WRX STi is like....the STi people took the WRX and tuned it to the type of car they wanted. I'd rather buy a WRX and tune it my own way....am I making sense here?

No question, a G35 if I could still spend in the 30's. The car is super nice with lots of power. May get one anyway.
