What do i need in order to use 5 lug wheels? [scratch]

What type of things do i need, cause i really want to change from 4 lug to 5 lug so that i can upgrade the brakes and wheels. i know i need some of the e36 parts but what parts do i need any help would be appriciated.

i havent researched this topic too much yet because i plan to save it for way down the road.

but what i do know is that the e30 M3 had the same (almost) suspension as say, your car, only difference was steering rack and hubs outward. i think there was something about the strut mount angle off the hub housing is different and Big Daddy could be more speciffic.

but i have a feeling you can just replace the hub bearings themselves to 5 lug and a pretty cheap cost. id tell you how much but it would be just a guess as i have so many other parts in my head due to current projects

try and get the M3 89-91 front and rear suspension complete with hubs. then you'll be able to even use E36 wheels on an E30

easiest way about this, just expensive as all hell

seriously...screw that...obtaining an E30 m3 suspension would not only be difficult, but incredibly pricey. i honestly don't know what pieces you would need to swap out, but let me know when you find out, cuz it's pretty much just the non-m3 E30s that use the 4 lug, it's useless. there are so many options once you convert to 5 lug. esp if you wanna buy some new rims, like i do. keep us posted...

ok, so i took off my wheel cuz i have to repaint them (they're 15 year old momos...ya) and it looks to me as if you could just replace the hub assembly with the 5 lug, probably from the E30 M3. is it really that easy, or is it wishful thinking. i also don't know how the hub assembly is attatched to the car, but i would assume that it would become more appearant when i take the rotors off to replace them in a week or so.

I have a feeling that the hub bearing housing are different between the 325/318's and the m3 so it would be necessary to get the entire hub assembly and everything outward.

Ive seen pictures of mini coopers with the new style ac schnitzer wheels and hamann wheels in 17" and 18" and i think the minis have 4X100 lug pattern. *not entirely sure* but couldnt you just use those kind, check out the new bavarian autosport catalog on page 78 if you have it lying around. Just a thought.

I've seen them in the minis, but they have mad offsets... I can't remember how much but was something like 48+ and are expensive as HELL!!! Only for the very bling-bling crowd.... [hihi]

Those are the first i thought about buying - very common e30 wheel! but i thought it too simple and flat for the price, so i bought these but had to get spacers made to fit...
