Lugs??

What about the 4 to 5 lug adapters, I dunno how safe or whatever they are i just really need to upgrade to 5 lug , cause my freind is selling me brand new SSR Comp's still in box set of 4 for 700$ but they're 5X what ever the e36 are i forget but i really want these cause i see them new for like 800+ everywhere.
Or I want the BBS RC which i can also get in 17x8 or actually what is the right diameter for the wheels so that they are even with the fenders, i dont wanna roll them, but ill do what i have to so that it looks alright.
Also about shocks and springs, what type I was thinking Bilstein w/ H&R dunno what is a good setup for performance and handling.
Any help would be appriciated thanks.
