Sounds more like the sales-fellow was a dope not necessarily a lair. Until he found out he was wrong and started trying to cover his butt. Unless you really drive the car hard you'll likely never notice a 10 hp difference. As is it's a great car. I'd just try to see what I could get out of the dealer as his way of compensating you for the misrepresentation and for keeping you from complaining to the regional bmw offices, better business etc. As you are in Canada, you should probably have a set of winter tires. I'd shoot for a set of winter wheel/tires - that would be a great deal for you. (of course the above is my opinion, which was unsolicited, but for some reason I always think people want to know my opinion)
Good Luck with however it turns out.

just curious to Canadian zhp owners. do you have clear out lights? and side markers or the ambers? if clears, i think they are more the euro version than the american counterpart. could be the reason why the 03s only had the m style package only.

the reason why i mention it is because i was watching this one korean drama, and the lady in it drove an imola zhp look like, cept it had clears, and style 68m rims. just like the euro style.
Jae, what do you mean by clear out lights? My coner/signal are not clear.

You're right, the sales most likely didn't know until I pointed it out. It's ok to make an error but trying to lie and cover himself afterwards is a big no, besides he is not even a good lair. I was mostly disappointed by the sales handleing of this situation. Now the case is over, I did get something from the dealer but not much. Most importantly is the manager did apologize and admitted the error.

I believe our ZHP is identical to the US model, with the exception of the gauges and the door-sills/dead-pedal - and the default options.

I believe you get power seats and Harmon Kardon standard. We do not, but we do get the Xenon lights standard. I think our optional Harmon Kardon system also has 2 less speakers.

In the US, it's called the Performance Package. In Canada, it is the M Performance Edition. They are now marketing it on their web page as a separate model rather than an option package - they abbreviate as the "330i M". I like this, because it will help at resale time. Especially in Imola Red.

Tim, below is what i was wondering about, since i don't think brits get the 235 hp engine either, so i thought it'd be closer to the Canadian spec. but i forgot about the fact that their 330i makes 321hp, so i guess there isn't need to get the zhp spec mods.. i'm still torn btw the clear outs and ambers.. the ambers work well w/ my color, but i like how the clear outs add an edge to the car. (however slight)

notice the lack of yellow in the turn sig, and the side marker?

same for the back end. (so it's like the Ci's sports package treatment.)

if you wanna read more about it: what you get w/ the sports model. here is the gallery hope it works. i went to www.bmw.co.uk then went to 3er, saloon..
