Uninspiring exhaust note

my stock exhaust sounds amazing. its a few years old (and i think its rusting from the inside out) but it sounds awsome.

Yeah mine was all rusted on the inside too and this made it really boomy, but nice. They get rusty from all the unburnt fuel sitting in the exhaust (if you don't do much freeway driving). Still, the original muffler did last nearly 130,000km.

My new one is starting to sound a little better now... But it still 'aint a patch on my old one.

Yeah it is about standard to wait about 1000km before the exhaust "sounds" the way it should. My 500+ euro Remus didnt sound good at all until i hit that mark....now it is nice....not to loud but waaaay better than the stock one.......
