That's the reason I don't suggest 5% limo tint anymore. Nighttime visibility was a pain in the butt, especially when there are lots of idiots who drive around at night without their headlights on.

DFW area the law for tinting is 35% front. You don't have to have Huper Optik tint as my opinion. Any high quality tint will work too for half the price. I'm using Madico Tint and so far so good and come with life time warranty.

The point of Huper is it's superiority in heat rejection. On a white car, a lot of heat is rejected already. On any other color car, particularly if you have a black interior, any extra bit of heat rejection is much appreciated.

Figured I'd chime in here... I don't live anywhere NEAR dallas, but I do think that the diff between 40% and 30% is minimal... 40% is hardly 'barely tinted'. This is our 325i w/ a 50% tint all around. A very classy look, IMO, and is still very easy to see at night while making it very difficult to see inside the vehicle. Remember that your interior color makes a HUGE diff on what it will look like. The 50% below is on a black interior. My F150 has 20% all around and doesn't look that much darker, since I have a very light interior that reflects more light coming in via the windshield.

Hey Dzervit, thank for the pic thats just gave me a better view of what Im getting into, I have decided that I'm going to get the tint with 40%, having it put on this weekend.[:)]

Just wanna share with you that my tinting turn out great, the matrix dot you guy were talking about turn out perfect..
If anybody ever need their tinting this is the place to go (Glacier tinting);normally they would charge the optik $399, but somehow I got a great deal on it ($265)... Even tho it was 40%, & my interior is black , somehow it made it look a little darker. I thought it was just right, didnt expect it to turn out this good.....Guess I have been driving in the sun too long.. [:D]
