ok ok and a 50 million$ plane

The funny thing, if i did have 50 million, i wouldn't spend it on cars or homes. I really think i would spend it on diamonds [fake] . Im almost more into diamonds and precious gems then automobiles. But i do like cars =)
the ol' Bling Bling huh ?, Diamonds are a girls best friend. I dont mind buying them if the payback is appropriate..HeHe !!!

I don't care for diamonds. [rolleyes] The diamond industry people know us men are suckers and they nail us all the time for this crap. It’s a conspiracy I tell ya, a damn conspiracy between our wives/girlfriends and the industry to guilt us into these purchases without a thought. [fake] [fake] [fake]
kind of like valentines day.

Yeah, I hate it when people refers to cars as toys. I love driving my car and I love driving it hard, but it's also my daily driver. I take my car very seriously.

Yeah, the people that call them toys are the same people who pay to get their oil changed. My car is a part of me. It is the only care I own. It is only a 1992 325i but I am in love with it so I am literally constantly working on it and buying new parts for it, but it looks like new and runs GREAT - so that is my reward. Toys? I don't even think I have any toys - I gave my legos up a few years ago, but I even took them very seriously.

Easy guys - in this thread everyone knows, or should know, "toy" is used figuratively, not literally. I don't think there's a single person on this board that doesn't take their bimmer seriously - that's why we are all here!

Oh, I did forget one other "toy" I have - a Smith & Wesson .357 magnum. Yes, I take that "toy" VERY seriously, but I love to go to the shooting range for target practice.

I remember driving with an attorney when I was younger and he commented how his new 7 was “just a car.” I was like “just a car, what in the hell are you talking about just a car.”

Today I understand this thinking a little better because life has changed so much and actually would say the same of my car. I would even say that yes there is a toy aspect to the car. Realistically, there are far more practical choices I could have made--perhaps something a little bigger—more reasonably priced- so I do consider my car as having some toy value or attributes that influenced my decision to buy it.

Holy bajeezers !!!

Well - I love G-Loomis fishing rods.

On the west coast we have decent runs of Salmon & Steelhead - so I am one of the fishing fools out there.

Digital music is fun-

I play with a "phatbox" in my car trunk and a Dell Digital DJ for wherever, often when I am on a good mountain bike excursion.

Interesting replies. Funny how the topic got off on the meaning of "toy." I hope I am never without my toys.

You guys reminded me of a few other things I love that I failed to mention in my original post:

G-loomis rods (they really are the best)
Glock 17
Savage 7mm Rem Mag and all the associated hunting crap that goes with it.
Benchmade Automatics.

I do have one vehicle that I do not consider a toy. My wife's Explorer. Just doesn't do anything for me. Guess that's why it's called a S. Utility V.

Whoops, I misunderstood this thread. I am a big fan of things that are engine-powered. I have my 04 Sea-Doo RXP jetski which stays in Florida. Here we have two quads (my brothers and my dad ride them, so I will not call them my own); an 00 Honda FourTrax Rancher 4x4 and an 01 Yamaha Kodiak 4x4. I enjoy my "riding" time!
