Thanks for clarifying that...yeah I was thinking "M3 more fun than the IS? No shit!"....haha. Yeah but I dunno...based on the test drives I did with the 330i, I felt the IS to be a little more fun. It could be that my IS has Hotchkis swaybars and springs, but regardless if I remember correctly..the stock IS felt good too. Perhaps I didn't drive the 330i long enough to really get attached to it? Who knows.....in any case, I'm not just saying this because I love my IS. I guess it all boils down to your driving style and the Lexus is a little more tame which is nicer for me because most of my driving is done on highways. Don't get me wrong, I love the 330....that's why I'm looking to get the 330xi for Minnesota winters.

It's good see that you're still happy with your selection of the IS. Nothing worst than to buy a car and then regret it. The IS is a great car and will last a long time with proper maintenance. You should post photos of it sometime.....

This is may be a BMW board, but most of the members here are above all - car enthusiasts. There are select few that cannot see past the blue/white propeller, but that shouldn't meke you feel you cannot be part of this community.....

It's not all about horsepower here.Yes its a given that the IS3000/C230 might/has an edge because of the HP.I went head to head with an TSX/Is300...still waiting on the C230....off the start yes it was the competitor and my 320I had only 170 hp to boot.bBut when i caught up around the twist/turn course?? This is where the ultimate Driving machine kicked in.Depending how you drive and manouver the Bimmer....it??? Lets just say made a believer of the followers behind.

Cheers !!!
