Bryan,

I don't think we have the M-Sprt pack, or the ZHP in Aust. Could you elaborate as to what those packages offer and are they able to be retro fitted?

We can get performance handling upgrades, but in my opinion one is better off getting proven aftermarket equipment like H&R or Eibach etc...I did look at Gold Chipping the car but was talked out of it as really getting poor bang for your buck. Chipping here cost's $1300 where as I can make some nice suspension mods for less than that, and as we all know, dollar for dollar, better handling will outperform increased power, certainly of you ever hit the track for some fun.

Yes, we do (I've got it)! It's called the M Sports II package, which includes suspension mods, 6 speed short throw manual box, fat rimmed sports steering wheel, M trim, M3 style bumbers, minor engine/exhaust mods, shadowline window trim, clear lenses.

I agree jes330, there are companies other than BMW directly to add these options. But they are nice packages that offer some very nice additions to the cars.

We still do not have this in the ci but I understand these cars should start to arrive soon.

That is a beautiful car DrWho, the package creates a whole different look I think.

For once we agree Black330..love those rims.

Dr Who, what performance gains did you get? What exactly are the mods?

I have priced Power Chip at $1300. That provides 180kw and 318Nm...Also for $870 installed I can get the German H&R Cold wound coils...this will lower the front 20mm and the back 0mm. A very nice handling upgrade I am told. Not that I am unhappy with the car ...I love it...Its just that , well, nothing exceeds like excess hey.

Hey, Bryan and Black, we should all post pic's of our cars on the thread...i'd be curious...

The Convertible does not handle as well as the convertible, but it is close.
MrE-

Thats a funny one !! I know what ya mean though. [:D]

The Cic's handle superbly for what they are, but not as good as the i or Ci, add 400 lbs or just throw a cow in your trunk. But the Verts are pretty as they come too.

Thank you!

You can upload pics by using the "attach file" at the bottom left corner of the posting page. I adjust the size to under 50k and then browse to select the photo and its done.

Flash, thanks for validating us vert drivers.............when its a sunny day, 45 to 85 degrees and the top is down, and the guys are fighting for who gets to drive beside you, we are all crying the blues because our car is slower and doesnt handle as well as a CI or I..........jeez guys.........[?|] [?|] [?|]

I love the cic[thumb]

From what I see it is the best around and I think the weight is due to safety features. It's like a small but quick tank.

All the BMW's are nice and if high performance was all we were looking for and valued we would all have M's.
