AWD or not to AWD

Yeah I remember when I went on two or three Audi test-drives, the salesman kept saying he wished it was raining, hehehe. Seriously though, I wish BMW would give at least one of their fast (fast meaning 0-60 in sub 6 seconds) cars AWD....BMW can be super stubborn when it comes to them and AWD, but at the same time, I guess Audi may be even more stubborn about not using RWD. Either way, I love AWD and I think that's what really gets to me about Audi.

It sounds like you would be a good candidate for an S4. AWD and with the manual tranny, you you can do 0-60 in around 5 secs.

I would, and I have hinted at this a lot. The Audi S4 is one of my favorite cars. The A4 is getting a face lift, and a face-lifted S4 will soon follow and I can't wait to see how it looks!

Based on the info I'm getting, the only thing that's changing is the S4's front. All of the Audis are getting the same big grill in the front. If you want to see what it looks like, go to your local Audi dealer and check out the 2005 A6. The A4s however are getting a HP boost along with the face lift. I believe the 4cly turbo will put out 190 HP and the 6 cyl will put out around 260 HP.

The A4 turbo should be a really nice car that you'll be able to buy fully equipped for around $30K. Keep in mind that you can usually get an Audi almost anywhere for $1K over invoice. So the turbo A4 should really provide the 325 with some stiff competition.
