The dealers stock of E90 330's are going for 1500 over invoice if you bargain right, I got a quote over the phone for 2100 above invoice. The salesman said "since you're calling every dealer in the United States, I'm going to give you this quote and thats the last price. But, I don't buy it, the price they give you over the phone is never the same as the price you can haggle in person. You just need to spend a few hours with the salesman and go on an extended test drive, that way he feels more inclined to do the deal.

I agree but sometimes it cuts both ways. The BMW Dealers near me like to add mysterious charges after you think the deal is closed. Things like $150 processing fee and $250 for regional advertising. So in my area when you close the deal you have to tell the salesman that the price you offer includes evrything except taxes and tags, and it's not a bad idea to check out what they charge you for that to make sure that they don't try to slip in another $100 fee.

I remember when I bought my M3 in 2002, I saw a guy walking out of the Dealership shouting and cursing the salesman for trying to screw him with all of the added fees. Needless to say I don't think that guy bought a BMW from that Dealer.

Sounds like you have a shady dealer... I never heard of extra fees being added with the exception of tax, title, and registration. I suggest the next time you're in the market for a BMW that you travel a little.

As I posted earlier, the BMW Dealers near me ain't very good. I'm not saying all BMW Dealers are bad, just the ones near me. Hopefully many buyers will stop shopping at these places, and management will change. My fear however is that BMW has a vey loyal customer base, and it may take some time to get an ethical mangement team in place.

IPlease have hard facts, and valid points/ comparisons before you make a bold statement. [hatchet]

My hard facts are in my right foot and rear end. The BMW handles better, but lacks the power and the quality of build. Not only that, BMW does not stand behing their cars. Gives new meaning to the term "All Sales Final". Is my BMW experience an isolated case....? Maybe, ....I dunno.

But I drive a 330 everyday (in contempt) and one drive in the IS and that's all she wrote for me.

I still love the looks of the E90 and actually want one. But my experience with Bad Motor Werks has left me with that once bitten twice shy feeling.

And anybody who feels the BMW's are all that and a bag of chips over the MBZ's and Lexus's are simply too consumed in the fact they own a BMW and what they think that means........ I know, I was there once.

Hyndai is making good money, they built that fancy smancy new assembly shop. Maybe they might be the new Honda?
They still have reliability issues, and Honda offers performance Hyundai wishes they could...

Supposedly their Hyundai Azera has this stuffs:

Powerful, clean and efficient. This advanced 3.8-liter all-aluminum V6 engine with Continuously Variable Valve Timing uses a cold air-intake system producing responsive, efficient power. It’s proof that having 263-horsepower and 255 lb.-ft. of torque isn’t just impressive, it’s exhilarating.

Thats pretty good for a Korean car
