SOT, get a 325i CPO with sport in the mid-20's. You'll enjoy it. Save the 330i for something to look forward to after you get out of college and you can buy it on your own. It'll drive that much sweeter when you shell out the cash yourself.

and who ever said sumthing like even if your mom could get you in, you'd be a janitor, boy you are so wrong. Even in todays society, it doesn't matter where you went to college, or what you know, its all about "Who you know" to open the door for you, and in womens case "WHO you blow."

...the only one close to me is BLUE, and whats he gonna do to me? Tell my mom im a i need a whack in the ass? [rofl] [rofl]
I'll be 33 in September. And yes, it does matter what you've done with your life up to the point of an interview or your start date for work. It's not just "who you know" and it sure as hell isn't "who you blow", although you may need to exercise the latter if you continue down your path of ignorance.

No, I'm not going to tell your mom to whack your ass - raising you ain't my job. I have my own child, and she will be singing a far different tune when she's 17, I can guarantee that. Sure, she'll be driving a nice car that I bought her when she's 17 (just as my father did for me back in '88), but she'll appreciate it and respect it. That's the only difference here.

Remember you have to service the car, at stage II on a BMW is going to run you around $750, and oil changes are $100.00. If you want the car to last 4-6 year and have $25-$30 (will your parant adopt me) then I would go for a TL acura. I run a 330i and would not want the expense if i was at college.

so what if i dont respect what i drive as much as she will.

Those that come from rags to riches respect things alot more then people that come from riches.

Plus, my car is a simple everyday car. I thought you would know blue, since your coming from scottsdale too, bmws don't make you high class.

Maybe if i earned a bmw like you and not given one, i would respect it, but since i have not experienced something that i earned, i have never experienced that feeling.

Oh well, i don't want to talk any more about this becasue the more i open my mouth, the more you will snap back at me.

Just bought my second house in south Scotts, down by Granite Reef & McDowell.

Been here since graduating grad school in '96 - packed up my jeep and drove across the country just for the hell of it.

Oh, and no car can make you high class...that's a personal trait, not something you buy off the shelf. Think of who's funeral is occuring today if you want to know high class...

"no wonder" what? You're maybe.......4 miles from me? Do the lines of social demarcation have such fine resolution? This I did not know....

LOL, print this entire thread out and read it in about 12 years...

LOL, you live in south Scottsdale. Take a look at a map next time you're filling up with gas.

I'm still curious to learn what you mean by "no wonder"...

If it's CPO he doesn't have to pay for that, and he can change the oil himself when that warranty runs out.

I think with that "I've never seen a goodlooking smart person" comment he's trying to imply that hes "goodlooking" since he presents himself as stupid on this forum. Come on now, I can't be the only one who caught that.....

Oh and Blue lay off your scottsdale Arizona brother...... [:D]

no, i was being sterotypical, since you all said im a druggie, pot head, rapiest, low life white trash.
No. You're just misguided and in dire need of a dose of reality. The world is not as you envision it. You will learn that in the next ten years if you manage to not get yourself killed or locked up due to your ignorance and immaturity. It saddens me to know that people are broken like this, yet it is a fact that we all live with.

This thread is cracking me up to.
... whats with this "rich = arrogant, poor = ugly, respect = paramount sh!t!!"

BTW you're not going to get balanced advice asking about what car to buy from a BMW forum, but its hard to go wrong spending $30k on a CPO Bimmer. Just make sure its a car that you will still enjoy driving in a year's time.

Blue, ROFL, we are both from Scottsdale Az! HAHA, then you must know this town is very wealthy, and im not to only "bratty rich kid" that lives here.

Actually your all wrong. You are sterotyping what a "snotty brat kid" is. I am none of those things. I have tried pot before, but im not a pot head. And you would be lieing too if you said you never tried pot. I don't have any negative attitude about my life, where as to i would burn my house down, or commit suicide.

And, im not even as wealthy as you all are thinking i am.

Nows My turn to be sterotypical
From what ive seen, everyone that comes from a rich family is better looking. Ive never see a smart and good looking person. Second, all of the cool kids that get bad grades in school have i see grow up being more successful then the smart people, why i dunno, it just happens.

And the freakin gas incident, which i regret sharing, has over 1000 views already. Boy i feel stupid
I never tried pot.

Ok, so maybe i am a little arrogant and misguided. When is this ever going to bit me in the ass? IT WONT. My sisters a PERFECT example.

Shes 23, never worked a REAL job like me at all in her life, failed math and spanish, and is probably one of the DUMBEST person you will ever meet. But shes already moving out, with my moms help of course, and has a house in malibu. My mom wants to live close to her, so she bought her and I a home in beverly hills. And what she does for my sister, she always does for me as well. So when im close to 23, i see me moving out with my moms help.

I really don't even care when i move out because i have one of the coolest mom's in the world. Not only have i never pumped gas b4, but ive never working a washing machine before. i would die if had alot of responsibilities, but no one expects really that much from me, which im happy with.

So yeah, cavedweller, that dose of reality in 10 years will more likely be this: i will have moved out with mommys help, second, she will come by everyday to do my laundry, or my wife will do it

oh and no one ever answered my question in a different thread. I asked is Chicken in the sea tuna chicken or fish?
