Kirby, that's a pretty superficial signature.
Congratulations - you've mastered the obvious and got the message! That IS the whole point of the sig and the song - how shallow and superficial some people can be!

By the way, didn't you post in another thread that you were pissed about girls looking at another dude's BMW and ignoring your G35? Think about it.......

No Kirby the three day rule does not apply. Read carefully Kirby's link. Unless the salesman came to your home and sold you the car there, the three day rule does not apply. Read to that , "you may have that option". Permissive language, not mandatory. Sorry, as I said before talk with the General Manager and resolve your issues there, changing the financing should be no problem, anything else is negotiable.

If you buy something at a store and later change your mind, you may not be able to return the merchandise. But if you buy an item in your home or at a location that is not the seller's permanent place of business, you may have the option. The Federal Trade Commission's (FTC's) Cooling-Off Rule gives you three days to cancel purchases of $25 or more. Under the Cooling-Off Rule, your right to cancel for a full refund extends until midnight of the third business day after the sale.

Yeah, but I intentionally asked my friend to park his car behind my car so that it was hidden in the car so nobody would see it. I just wanted to share the fun that BMW's bring at parties. [:D]

can i get in trouble for giving out the salesmans name and the dealer in this forum??
No, but if u do give it out u may help a member so they won't go to that salesman or dealer....plus i've heard rumors that BMWNA checks BMW message boards periodically....

Truth is a defense to any defamation claim so you'll be fine. Like tripulldee said, BMWNA supposedly checks these boards occassionally so you might get lucky and have more of a chance for a response if you post that dealer's name and the salesperson too.

lizattwu,

Which dealership you get the car from? when I was ready to buy a new bmw I went to John Robert and it was my worst day ever man. I'm 25 and walk in there and I want to get a 04 330CI and this saleman will not work with me what so ever. So, I got really pissed off at him cause he treated me like I don't know what I'm talking about or have the money to buy it. He was so disrepectfull to me and my dad. So, I got really upset and yelled at him infront of everyone (lot of customers there too) and then GM come out and ask what is going on? I told him the whole thing and I take out $45,000 cash and show him, if your saleman was nice and respectful..you got this..but too sad I'm not going to spend even a peny on this dealership. GM was chasing me off to the parking lot. I was so upset I was about to hit that saleman but then I will be in trouble that is not worth it.

Now I got new 03 330ci with premium and sport, xnenon instead of 04 330ci at another dealership.

Good luck to you Lizattwu.

I think you should contact BMW Customer Service of North America and file a complaint against that particular mistreatment with the details. I'm sure they will take care of it. In addition, write a letter to the stating your mistreatment to management at the dealership and reference your contact with BMW N.A.

Ha, and here I thought it was only I. What! BMW dealers treating customers bad?! Naw, don't believe it. Relax it seems to be the norm for the car company. At least it sure feels that way. The one thing that bothers me the most from BMW (which is far from what I would have expected) is the bad customer service and the I-don't-give-a-sh!t attitude most (from my point of view and experience) dealers give a would-be owner and established owners. BMW should really look into a new mandatory Customer Service Training Courses for ALL BMW DEALERS and make it hurt (in the pockets of the sale mngr and GM) when the requirements are not met, because the one they have now just don't cut it! I am tired of going to a dealer and wondering what kind of service I will be greeted with that day. That shouldn't be the way owners and perspective owners have to feel when going in to buy or inquire about matters pertaining to their BMW cars [:(!] .

OK next (as I step down of my soapbox).

Good Luck to you man.

Speaking of poor treatment. I picked up my 330i in edmonton last friday and I just can not believe the conduct of the dealership. The salesman that I signed the contract with was no longer working with them a month into production, now I get a new salesman, who I assume is without commission and without much interest in me or my car. This salesman also ends up leaving the dealership a short time later. Now I have had enough and I try for 4 days to reach the salesmanager only to find out that he has also left the dealership (apparently he is starting a new dealership in Edmonton) and I am now on my 4th salesman.

The car finally arrives at the dealership and I arrive exactly at the time I said that I would be there to inspect the car. Now at the dealership they rope off the new car for delivery to the proud owner with a sign that says this is Mr. X's new car, however my car is not roped off it is sitting alone in the corner of the showroom. The salesman leaves me standing there for 15 minutes looking at my locked car while he chases around possible customers in the showroom.

We do the inspection and the Saleman knows jack about the car. I expected to have the computer programed for things like the electric seats, however he tells me you dont need to do that and the seats will reset themselves automatically to the key fob. Of course that is not correct.

The saleman then goes on about the bmw survey and how he would really like a 10 out of 10 (he has got to be kidding), next I get to meet the salesmanager and he also goes on about getting a 10 out of 10.

The purchase experiece is the worst I have ever had. When I bought my Pathfinder the Nissan dealership could not do enough to help me out, they even sent thank you cards and gifts. The BMW dealership were so dam cheap they would not even through in a hat after all of the grief they created.
