Ok so I finally got my lazy butt outside in the cold to take pictures of the marks. Here you go.... first one is the back side of my car. In person the "rub marks" almost look like fade marks. They are hard to see in pictures, but I am doing my best. There is also about an 8" crease that runs vertical on the side of the top.

This one is my dad’s car. His creases are much more defined then mine (his car is a year older). Same shot as mine.

This one is the top, right above the driver’s door. We have them in the same exact spots on both sides of the car.

HAHA thanks. I went three years on my last BMW without knowing a soul in the service department... 8 months and I know just about everybody including the technicians from my many test drives with them. I just wonder why some convertibles have the marks and some don't.

Thanks for the pics.. Those creases doesnt come out and I would guess that a hardtop would be the only way to not look at them. still checking ebay for em.

Do you have noise from the rear when you installed the hardtop?

I do and wonder what I need to do.
