At Frys in Austin they sell a soft rubber cover that prevents the IPOD from sliding around. The good news is it works well the bad news is my wife picked out a hot pink one. Costs around $20 and should keep the IPOD from moving in the trunk. I have an IGRIP which is a soft piece of rubber that you toss on your dash and place the IPOD on it. I have tried to turn fast enough to throw the IPOD off and I can't.
