Yeah, I only spun out into a curb. And I wasn't under any kind of influence (alcohol, drugs, etc.). It was in the middle of the day, just taking a nice drive....turned out to be the worst drive I ever took.

(we always are running 20 mph in the villages or 100 mph or the roads that connect the villages, seems like there is no in-between)

I try & get about 400 miles per tank. So with 16 gallons that's about 25 Mpg. Not bad.

I don't know if I should be answering this post since I am non-BMW, but sharing is caring. I get about 18mpg average, I do mixed driving of 50% city/50% highway.

How many miles are on the vehicle? For the first couple thousand miles, you will get signficantly below-average fuel economy. Also, if you do all "city" driving, that takes a huge toll on your fuel economy as well.

I have just over 3000 miles on it. That mileage is city only - but even taking it easy on the car (which is difficult to do!).

I have not had a chance to give it a good highway trip yet, but my best highway mileage was 22mpg. My old 328i would have got over 26 on the highway.

I know that the mileage will be worse when it is cold out, but again, my 328i was getting 18 or 19mpg at the same time of year.

I hope you're right, and that it improves with more mileage. I can't afford this!
