While other cars are having a hard time, my 325xi handles snow, ice, sleet, and water very well today and during last year winter storm. [thumb]

That is why I moved to where it rarely snows! I hate snow, it is something you should drive to if you want to play in, but you should not have to put up with it where you live, haha....All your cars will out run the M roadster in the snow, oh the price we pay. Enjoy your snow folks!

It's snowing right now, and I am loving it! I mean, my car is sitting in the garage and I have no plans to drive it, but it's so great that it's snowing !!

P.S. I don't mind the snow because I have a "backup" SUV that will handle the snow nicely. [:D]

I had a pretty interesting trip home today. Since I have sports package and summer tires that really scuk in rain, it was scary at times. It takes the car about 40 feet to reach a complete stop from 20 miles per hour, needless to say it accelerates even slower but traction control did an awesome job. I went to a closed air field and had a lot of fun power sliding and what not. They say we will get 6-12 inches, good thing I don't have to go anywhere, just stay home in warmth.

I said rain on purpose. I meant to tell you that the tires suck in rain so they must suck even worse in snow. I guess it wasn't the best way of saying it.

Had a wicked ride today. I have Goodyear RS-A "all seasons" and was sliding all over the place. I mean SCARY. I was a little slow in ordering my Dunlop winter sports and they won't be in till Monday. Wow, I remember earlier posts urging me to get good snow tires. Oh, why did I not sooner heed the wisdom of the bard.....er I mean board. HeHe [rofl]

I got back from a nice 2-hour drive about 30 minutes ago. Mad traffic since everybody was going so slow. First I went to Blockbuster to pickup a few movies (which they were sold out of both), so then I went over to the supermarket and picked up a case of Pepsi Vanilla (I wanted Mountain Dew: Code Red, but they didn't have that shit), and then I went back to my local video store and got the movies !!
Anyways, I saw the most ridiculous thing. When I first headed out, I was going down my street, and it goes downhill at one part. There was a little traffic jam on the hill because for the cars trying to go up the hill, one car was stuck. I creeped up and quickly realized it was a BMW (distinctive BMW Xenons), and I was curious what car it was. I slowly went by it and it was a freaking M3 Convertible with the 19" wheels !!!!!!!!!!!! Who in their right mind, takes out their M3 Convertible when it's snowing !! Or maybe he took it out before it started snowing, but everybody knew it was gonna snow hard today !!!!!! Finally, he was able to get up the hill, which was pretty cool but I'm sure the driver wasn't having a good time.
People are dumb...some people were going pretty fast and the roads were VERY slippery !!

The roads were very slippery here too. In fact I almost hit a hydrant, the curb saved me. I never drove a RWD car in snow before and got into a drift while turning left. Tryed to brake but ended up sliding towards a hydrant at about 3 miles per hour. When the front wheels touched the curb, they gained traction and forced the car to go in the right direction. Also, while I was at the airfield, I came close to getting the car into some bushes. It doesn't slide when you want it to and it goes crazy when you don't want it to. Oh well, I guess I just can't drive in snow. [rolleyes] [?|]

I drove home from school today in the snow and boy am I telling you with the Blizzak LM-22s I had COMPLETE control [driving2]. Only once over a period of three hours of straight driving did my traction control kick on. I took the car to an empty parking lot once I got home (with about 3 inches of snow on the ground) slammed on the brakes and my car actually stopped. No fishtailing, no skidding before stopping, no traction control. These things are amazing [thumb]...I can't wait for more snow! [:D]

I took my 325i RWD out in the snow yesterday my only complaint was the side windows fogging up to a point where I couldn't see anything. Aside from that the car handles well in the snow, although many SUV's and other cars were spinning their tires to try and get out of their "standing spots" [:D] Maybe I just happened to get lucky and not lose traction, although whenever I gave too much gas the DSC would flash.
