Taping the conversations seems to be a smart thing to do. Removes all the "he said she said". Probably would have made BMWNA act faster. BUT, I have no idea about the legality. There must be an attorney among us.

I'd go one step further. I'd say they are trained to say one thing and only one thing "Sir ... you'll have to contact your dealer to discuss this".

I have taped conversations with BMWNA and the dealer. I have also made copies of this and other boards and plan on contacting investigative reporter to get to the bottom of this.

Now one of these guys is spreading false information on bimmerfest.com. He indicates


"Be sure to not allow a partial fix or a clutch patch. It will damage the the engine."

He provides no substantiation. I had to laugh.
