So why do people even bother to store it for winter and not enjoy it while it hold the looks if people are just selling them off to buy newer ones?
I do not want to store my car for winter and see it age and value drop while I drive on some "winter-only" car. I would rather enjoy all the time I got with it since I would rather drive a slightly more "used" car for 6-8 years and get a new one than a "less used" car for 6-8 years (without driving in the winter) and still getting the newer one. Market value would still be more or less the same but I would not enjoy it as much if you store it. With proper waxing/washing and "protection", it should not look much different than non-winter one.
