For all we know the silver ///M3 may not even be finished. Maybe he hasn't gotten around to painting the hood yet. I think the car looks sweet. "Riced" my a$$. People get a grip. Just because someone make a couple of changes from stock on a BMW half of you think it's "riced out". I swear, most of you have know idea what a "ricer" is. That silver ///M3 and BuGGz's cars are sweet as hell.

Yeah bugs your car is hot....only thing I dont like is that lip on the front skirt......Only thing I see a little ricey about it. IMHO!!! But I do love the way you put dark colored rims on it. Not very many BMW owners have the gumption to do that!!!

RuGGz:

I think the whole aspect of changing the car's looks is ricey if it has nothing to do with performance, especially if your goal is to make the car look like other cars. People do it to different extents and the more you do it the more you fit the definition. All of this fits in the definition of "modifications" but the reasons for doing them is defines a ricer. Was the stock bumpers adding drag? Looking at all the equipment you added to your car it is obvious that performance is not your priority... so was it logical to make exterior changes?

And oh yeah.. that sticker on the front windshield will add you 5 additional H.P. If thats not rice I do not know what is.

My $.02. [wave]

He said the M3 bumber had the larger opeining for the FMIC....but you dont even know what that does anyway so I didnt think you cought it

Stickers are for many reasons which of which would look like a guy pissing on the word "Push"...if that isnt funny than I dont know what is [hihi]

So is a three piece ajd carbon wing rice? Even though braking into a high speed sweeper you will kinda wish you had one? [hihi]

Its amazing what non-racers think is rice and what is not rice......

BS, BS, BS; QUOTE, "I think the whole aspect of changing the car's looks is ricey if it has nothing to do with performance, especially if your goal is to make the car look like other cars.” Yea right! The reason to make a few changes to make it look other cars? Are you for real? Most people make changes to not make it like all others, but to make in the mold of their own. Push, the pic you posted WAS that of a "ricer". By no means did that silver M3 or BuGGz fit into that category. Push you have no idea what the hell you’re talking about. Funny when someone here puts clears on its not considered mods.

Hey Guys.
The bumper, well not too many bumpers out there that are of ABS or polyurethane base, and it's also one of the few bumpers with an nice opening for the intercooler for my supercharger. Anyways, believe me this car run's with M3's, with the supercharger, upgraded diff, and exhaust I'm putting 286HP and 268 ft/lbs TQ to the wheels. The gearing is better on the M3 but I have no problems hanging with one.
And; QUOTE, "Was the stock bumpers adding drag? Looking at all the equipment you added to your car it is obvious that performance is not your priority"? Have you looked what he has done to this car? Yea adding a supercharger that nets you 286HP and 268 ft/lbs TQ to the wheels wouldn't be considered “performance priority”. This car reeks performance.

funny, once we all agreed that when a car has performance and optics it is fine. only without the performance the optics CAN make it a ricer. how come that people forget that conclusion so fast?

Wow, I read all four pages. I use the "rice" word on occassion and I will give you my opinion of rice: GIANT shopping cart rear wings on a front wheel drive car, lowering the suspension by cutting springs and creating a bumpy choppy useless ride, wherein the car throws sparks driving over a penny on the street, strange colored headlamps that do nothing to improve sight and clear ugly tail lamps that show no red when off, stickers and decals that have nothing to do with your mods and are pasted where they obstruct your vision, and super bass stereos that do nothing except remove kidney stones with ultra sound and can be heard across the country. (isn't this funny?)

And regarding the three photos in this post. I like most of what I saw. Considering my 91 318is has Zender aerodynamics, Dinan suspension, Racing Dynamics front and rear stress bars, an upgraded sound system, a Conforti chip, performance gauge package, tinted windows and more, is it rice?
