Wow, I read all four pages. I use the "rice" word on occassion and I will give you my opinion of rice: GIANT shopping cart rear wings on a front wheel drive car, lowering the suspension by cutting springs and creating a bumpy choppy useless ride, wherein the car throws sparks driving over a penny on the street, strange colored headlamps that do nothing to improve sight and clear ugly tail lamps that show no red when off, stickers and decals that have nothing to do with your mods and are pasted where they obstruct your vision, and super bass stereos that do nothing except remove kidney stones with ultra sound and can be heard across the country. (isn't this funny?)

And regarding the three photos in this post. I like most of what I saw. Considering my 91 318is has Zender aerodynamics, Dinan suspension, Racing Dynamics front and rear stress bars, an upgraded sound system, a Conforti chip, performance gauge package, tinted windows and more, is it rice?
Exactly Big Daddy, that is what I am saying. The picture Push posted of the green BMW is text book rice. The others are not. IMO, they are both very nice cars setup for performance.

Looks like a nice ride, the wheels are nice - look like BBS forged, not cheap... CF hoods are an acquired taste - not one that I have personally come to terms with, but to each his own... maybe on a black M3. [^]

Are we still talking about the M3 in this forum? I must say, I really feel that the mods done to that silver M3 look like they were not unnecessary and only done to improve performance...you can never disprespect that. Carbon fiber hood reduces weight, and do those rims (possibly). At the very least, they increase the performance look of the car.
