I put in a call to my dealer today. According to the website, the car should have been delivered to VPC today. I let him know about some of the stuff we've talked about here in this forum and asked him to look i nto it and get back to me. Ill let you guys know if I hear anything. All I know is the car got into the NYC port on 10/9 and STILL has not gotten
transported to the VPC. I'm not officially suspicious, especially when you take into account Snow's story.

Xi Guy: My sales gal basically gives information only when you twist her arm, and even then it's based on no real information. Always ends with the comment "thanks for your patience, the car will be here before you know it!". I have more recently been dealing with their "delivery coordinator", and when I press on him he actually calls the port or VPC to see what's going on. He told me about the computer chip recall. Basically, they seem to operate on a don't ask, don't tell policy, so you have to get in their face a bit.

ITS ARRIVED!!

Car has officially hit the dealership parking lot. Picking it up tomorrow night, and can finally see what all the BMW drivers are happy about. It certainly didn't have to be this much trouble, but what a relief.

Loon, Xi Guy: best luck with the ride. You should be hearing good news shortly. I'll be posting picks soon. Do the same.

Cool Snow!!!! I'm psyched for you!!! I called my dealer (as promised) and he was real cool.He said yes, there are chip issues but there shouldnt be a delay associated with the problem. My car shoudl be ready for delivery next week.

Snow - please post pics....I'm dying to see the xi with sport package and the style 137 rims.
I havent seen one yet.

I envy you snow! picking up your car tomorrow night. Have not heard anything from Loon, maybe he is already driving with his top down, his hair blowing in the wind!

Sorry fellas, had to spend the day in NYC. BUT I did get a call from my dealer. He said that he called the VPC and they are releasing the car today (not) or tomorrow, which seems to jive with what Snow says. He also kept telling me that my patiance has been apricaiated and not only am I getting my PP for free(was dealer error), he also told me that they were gonna load me up with stuff(???) and adjust the price of the car (I told them that I had to extend my current lease). Last month he offered to rent me a car till mine came in. O and get this.... I had to park my Expidition in Queens today, and some one ripped off my passenger mirror, kinda glad I didnt have my new ride yet!!!


Where close guys!!!!! cant wait to see your pics.

Okay, here is the picture of MyHarley's 2003 330Ci Convertible. The picture she sent me was in really poor condition...I figure wrong camera settings or something. Either way, I used my image editing skillz to make it as smooth and viewable as possible, so here it is....

Well the picture looks a whole lot better than it did on my computer.......thank you......I cant post pictures, I cant take pictures, its amazing I make enough to purchase a BMW...[rofl] [rofl]

Wow!

OK boyz, my 325xi is in. It's the most amazing car I've driven. Still going through all of the electronic features. The NAV unit is spectacular, and it was a special treat finding the CD player and having the James Bond stuff happen. For those waiting for a car with the 2004 NAV system and the CD, I won't spoil it for you, but it's really cool.

Anyway, the car is really awesome. Couldn't be more black, and the new sport package wheels totally make the car. Loon, wait until you see them. The car is a show stopper.

And now, I must drive on the most twisted road I can find.

Yeeee haaaa!!

Congrats snow.......... I unfortunatly was promised no later then today(friday), But guess what.... NO F'in car yet..... cant wait to see some pics snow..... I didnt get the nav unit, but did get the sport. Whats diffrent bout the rims on the 04? arent they the same as the 03's???
